TIJUANA: Three bodies, two of them decapitated, were found yesterday morning dumped on baseball fields in Tijuana.

The three were among eight men found dead Saturday night and yesterday in the city, the Baja California Attorney General's Office said.

In addition, Rosarito Beach police reported finding a dismembered male body in a car on the city's main thoroughfare.

The number of deaths in Tijuana linked to battles between drug cartels has reached 152 in November, and 695 since Jan. 1, according to the state Attorney General's Office. There were 337 killings citywide in 2007.

Gunmen shot to death four people and wounded five others in two attacks Saturday night, the office reported.

At 8:15 a.m. yesterday, police officers found the bodies of three men wrapped in plastic bags behind baseball fields on the east side of the city. Police found the heads of two bodies nearby.

At 9 a.m., also on the east side, police found a man's body with hands and feet tied. The man had been shot.

Police in Rosarito Beach said that at 7 a.m. yesterday, officers found the body of man whose arms had been cut off in the trunk of a Ford Escort. The body was inside a plastic bag.
