The Wire Comes to Brooklyn... sort of

The story by Kenny Porpora, Alison Gendar, and Samuel Goldsmithin in the New York Daily News.

Frankly, I am shocked that a street-bred actor who potrays a homicidal drug lord with such natural flare would see gunfire break out at one of his parties in one of Brooklyn's most violent nabes. The creators of the Wire always touted their especially "authentic" actors. With hipsters losing their trust funds and the borough's credibility on the wane, Brooklynites should be proud of this bloody gun battle.

I'll say!

Here in Astoria, Queens, we still have to live on the rep of Archie friggin' Bunker.
